Durga Puja Information 2020

Happy to inform you that in spite of COVID-19 pandemic this year Bharati is able to attract many more new members. Please refer our mail dated August 10th, 2020 wherein we had mentioned that due to pandemic of COVID – 19, this year the celebration will be on a low key and our main focus will be to organise the puja of Ma Durga. 
Bharati hereby requests to note and comply on the following important information pertaining to this year Durga Puja Celebration – a) Puja Address – Puja will be organised at, India Thai Chamber of Commerce, No. 13, Sathorn Soi 1, Thungmahamek Sathorn, Floor – 2nd. Thailand – 10120. 

b) Puja Celebration Days – 

Thursday – 22nd October (Sasti) – Evening – Decorations, Ma er Bodhon & Sasti Puja

Friday – 23th October (Saptami) – Morning – Navapatrika Sthapon, Saptami Puja, Lunch. Evening – Arati, Culture performances by kids 

Saturday – 24th October (Astami) – Morning – Astami Puja, Lunch, Sandhi Puja, Evening – Arati, Dhunuchi dance & other Cultural performances by kids. 

Sunday – 25th October (Nabami) – Morning – Nabami Puja, Lunch, Evening – Arati, Cultural performances

Monday – 26th October (Dasham) – Morning – Debi Baran, Ma er Bisarjon. 

c) Food – Please note Morning, evening snacks, lunch and dinner will be provided by Bharati during Puja Days. ( Food Committee will send a separate email in this regard). 

d) Entry – Due to COVID – 19, Bharati will restrict this year Durga Puja celebration among members and their families ONLY. We would request all members to inform their friends accordingly. 

e) Hall Timing – Morning 7 AM – 2.30 PM. Evening – 6 PM to 10 PM. 

f) Sindur Khela – This year due to restrictions from ITCC strictly No Sindur Khela will be permitted. Members are requested to comply. 

g) Other important Days – Friday – October 30th – Lakshmi Puja – Evening 6 PM Onwards (Details will be sent later).                                          – Saturday – October 31st – Vijoya Sammilani – This will be a contributory event (Details will be sent later).
