Bharati Durgotsav 2020… updates from the Food Committee

Following the email sent by the Puja Committee on October 11, 2020, this email is from the “Pet puja” Committee, a.k.a. the Food Committee. We feel blessed and happy that even after the massive disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic worldwide, we are still able to celebrate our much awaited Durgotsav 2020.

It’s no secret that the Bengali community is serious about food, and we the Food Community have tried our best to live up to this spirit. We are happy to share that despite budget constraints, we could dish out a decent arrangement that we are sure will fill our hearts as well as our tummies.

On a more serious note, we should be mindful of the fact that this year’s celebration is not like any other. We should ensure that all safety-measures are diligently followed during the celebrations. To this end, we should strictly maintain social distancing in the Puja hall and especially in the dining area.

Like every year, this year too, we shall have a completely vegetarian spread on all the days. Here are the food timings.
