Food Guidelines for Bharati Durga Puja 2024

As we prepare for the Durga Puja 2024 celebrations, the Bharati Food Committee has established guidelines to ensure smooth food service for all members and guests.

To make things easier, guest coupons for lunch and dinner can be purchased through our online form on the website. You can select the specific day (e.g., Shashthi lunch, Saptami dinner) and the number of coupons required.

Food Guidelines:

Food Timings

Please follow the designated meal times. No special requests for early or late service will be entertained.

Coupons for Members:

• Family Members: 4 coupons per meal, for immediate family consisting of parents & 2 children, from Sashthi evening to Nabami.
• Additional Family Members: Current Bharati members must purchase coupons for any family members beyond the immediate family (member + spouse and 2 children). This ensures that every additional family member is accounted for and able to enjoy the meals during the celebrations.
• Single Members: 1 coupon per meal.
• No coupons for Panchami, Shashthi lunch, Dashami, or Bijoya Sammiloni.
• Coupons are non-transferable and cannot be passed to others.

Guest (non-member) Coupons:

Guests can purchase coupons via the online Food Coupon Registration form or scan the QR-Code displayed here.

• Lunch: THB 300
• Dinner: THB 400 (except Nabami dinner at THB 500)
• Children under 5: No coupon required.

Guest Coupon Purchase Process:

• Book coupons via online form
• Thai Residents: Can make payments via bank transfer and upload the payment slip in the form to confirm their booking.
• Visitors to Thailand: Can book ahead via the form and pay at the venue.

Sponsors

Sponsors will receive 4 coupons for every THB 5,000 sponsorship. Please confirm attendance with the Food Committee 1 day in advance.

Bharati member individual sponsors are also eligible for 4 coupons/5000 baht or 2 coupons/2500 baht.

In Case of Unexpected Guests: If there is an influx of non-members, the Food Committee reserves the right to stop selling additional coupons.

Do’s and Don’ts:

• Caterer Service: No food will be served without a valid coupon.
• Unused Coupons: Dispose of unused coupons responsibly. Do not leave them at the venue.
• Early Requests: Please refrain from requesting food service before cultural programs are over.
• Feedback: Direct any food-related feedback to the Food Committee, not the caterer.
• Food Inside the Hall: No food is allowed inside the main hall, including for children.
• Chairs: Do not move chairs into the food area.
